Adam Booth is a young Appalachian storyteller and musician. Born and raised in West Virginia, the study of Appalachian history and culture lies at the heart of his award-winning work.

Celebrate our thirtieth concert! We will close our fourth season with a home-state show featuring two West Virginia Storytelling Guild members: Fred Powers and Jo Ann Dadisman. Come hear coal mining memories and traditional Appalachian stories. We are drawing near-capacity crowds, so please reserve a ticket to ensure you will have a seat (and a cookie). See you on Tuesday December 13 at 7:30 ! Speak: Shepherdstown Story Series began in October of 2013 and features storytellers from around the country in concert for adult audiences (mature children are allowed), special school visits, and a storytelling contest for youth tellers. Public events take place in the Shepherdstown Community Club War Memorial Building on German Street. 

Speak has a commitment to remaining community-based and donates 10% of ticket sales to local organizations.
